Description
A 36-inch, 3-light island light in matte black with gloss white glass shades, designed for kitchen islands and dining areas.
From the Bridal Veil Collection, this island light features a matte black finish over steel and cast brass, with bell-shaped gloss white glass shades. The industrial, Art Nouveau, and restoration-vintage style makes it a versatile statement piece. Handblown glass shades give each fixture a unique, artisanal look. It includes stems for adjustable hanging and is sloped ceiling adaptable.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, providing focused task lighting over a 4-6 foot island
- Dining rooms, hung above a table for ambient light
- Breakfast bars and peninsulas
- Open-concept living areas where a statement light is needed
- Spaces with sloped ceilings, as it is adaptable
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or outdoor areas, as it is rated for damp locations but not wet locations
- Low ceilings under 8 feet if you need a long drop, as the minimum hanging height is 16.25 inches
- Small spaces under 8 feet wide, as the 36-inch width may be overwhelming
How bright is it?
With three 100W incandescent sockets (bulbs not included), this fixture can deliver up to 4,500 lumens with 100W equivalent LED bulbs, making it bright enough for primary kitchen lighting. Actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by the bulbs. For a warm, inviting glow, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The gloss white glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 36 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 9.5 inches high, with a height range of 16.25 to 40.25 inches. The canopy is 6 inches wide. Ideal for kitchen islands 4-6 feet long, and works well with standard 8-foot ceilings when hung at a suitable height.
