Description
A 3-light bell-shaped pendant from the Bridal Veil Collection, finished in satin gold with seedy glass shades, for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Ballston pendant brings an artisanal touch to any space with its handblown seedy glass shades, each one unique. The satin gold finish over steel and cast brass gives it a warm, vintage-industrial look that pairs well with traditional and restoration-style interiors. The 120-inch textured cord lets you hang it at your preferred height, and it's sloped ceiling adaptable.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung in a row of three for even task lighting
- Dining rooms over a 6-8 ft table, centered for ambient light
- Breakfast nooks and eat-in kitchens with a casual, vintage feel
- Living rooms with high ceilings, used as a statement piece
- Entryways and foyers with 9-10 ft ceilings
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - rated for damp locations, not wet
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 120-inch cord length
- Rooms needing bright, focused task lighting - this is ambient/accent light
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With three 100W max bulbs (not included), it can produce significant light, but we recommend using LED or CFL bulbs for lower wattage and heat. It's dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. The seedy glass shades diffuse light softly, creating a warm, inviting glow. For a classic vintage look, use ST64 Edison bulbs (sold separately).
