Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task lighting over a 6-8 ft counter
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, providing ambient light over a table
- Entryways and foyers, adding a warm welcome with a decorative pendant
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Vaulted or sloped ceilings, with the included 90-degree swivel
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 148.75-inch hanging length
- Rooms requiring bright, focused task lighting - this is a 100W max fixture, best for ambient or accent light
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With three 100W incandescent bulbs (not included), it can provide ample light for a kitchen island or dining area, but for a primary room light, consider higher-lumen LED bulbs.
Light color and feel
Color temperature not specified; depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The seedy glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a textured, artisanal effect.
