Description
A 6-inch wall sconce with a clear water glass globe and brushed brass finish, ideal for damp-rated bathrooms and hallways.
The Athens Water Glass sconce combines industrial steel and cast brass with a clear glass orb shade. The brushed brass finish and vintage ST64 bulb (not included) create warm, ambient light. This fixture is UL and ETL listed for damp locations, making it suitable for bathrooms and covered outdoor areas.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a single or double vanity, mounted 60-66 inches above the floor
- Hallways and corridors as accent lighting every 6-8 feet
- Powder rooms where a compact, damp-rated sconce is needed
- Covered patios or entryways protected from direct rain
Not ideal for
- Primary room lighting in spaces larger than 8x10 ft - this is an accent fixture
- Directly exposed outdoor areas without overhead cover
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. With a standard 60W equivalent LED (800 lumens), it provides ample accent light for a vanity or hallway. For softer ambiance, use a 40W equivalent (450 lumens).
Light color and feel
The clear glass shade and ST64 bulb shape produce a warm, vintage glow. Pair with a 2700K-3000K LED bulb for a soft, incandescent-like light that flatters skin tones and warm finishes.
Sizing and fit
The sconce extends 7.5 inches from the wall and measures 6 inches wide by 9.75 inches tall. The backplate is 4.5 x 6.25 inches. Works well on walls with standard stud spacing; mount at eye level for best effect.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
