The Athens Deco Swirl sconce combines industrial-inspired design with a vintage touch. The brushed brass finish and clear deco swirl glass create a warm, nostalgic glow. Made from steel, cast brass, and glass, this fixture is built to last and adds character to any space.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a single or double vanity, mounted as a side light for task lighting
- Hallways and corridors, spaced every 6-8 ft for ambient lighting

Not ideal for
- Outdoor uncovered areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Spaces with very low ceilings under 7 ft, as the sconce extends 8.5 in from the wall
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. Using a recommended 60W ST64 vintage bulb, expect about 800 lumens - similar to a standard 60W incandescent, suitable for accent or ambient lighting. For a softer glow, use a lower wattage bulb.
Light color and feel
The clear deco swirl glass diffuses light softly, creating a warm, inviting ambiance. Pair with a warm white bulb (2700K-3000K) for a cozy, vintage feel. The fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulbs.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 8 in wide, 12.12 in high, and extends 8.5 in from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 in diameter. It fits well in rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings. For bathrooms, mount at least 6 ft above the floor or 60-66 in above the floor for side lights.

Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Yes, when used with a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. Use a standard incandescent or LED dimmer.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is rated for damp locations, so it can be used in bathrooms (not directly in the shower) and covered outdoor areas. Not for wet locations.

Returns

All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
