Description
A 16-inch, 2-light bathroom vanity light from the Athens Deco Swirl Collection, finished in champagne bronze with light smoke deco swirl glass globes, ideal for bathrooms and powder rooms.
The Athens Deco Swirl vanity light combines a sleek metal frame with hand-blown glass globes featuring a subtle swirl pattern. The champagne bronze finish and smoke glass create a sophisticated, vintage-inspired look that complements a range of décor styles, from industrial to transitional.
Best for
- Bathrooms, mounted above a 24-36 inch vanity mirror for even task lighting
- Powder rooms, adding a touch of elegance and adequate illumination
- Hallways, used as a statement light along a corridor
- Dressing areas, providing bright, flattering light for grooming
- Bedrooms, installed above a dresser or vanity table
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas without cover, as this fixture is rated for damp locations only
- Spaces with very low ceilings, as the fixture extends 8 inches from the wall
- Large bathrooms over 100 square feet, as two bulbs may not provide sufficient overall brightness
How bright is it?
Each socket accepts up to a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), so with two bulbs you can achieve up to 3200 lumens - similar to a bright kitchen light. For a softer ambiance, use lower-wattage or dimmable LED bulbs.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select 2700K-3000K bulbs. The smoke glass shades diffuse the light, reducing glare and creating a soft, even illumination that flatters skin tones. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness.
Sizing and fit
The vanity light measures 16 inches wide, 8 inches deep, and 11 inches high, with a rectangular backplate of 6.25 inches wide and 4.5 inches high. It is designed for horizontal mounting and fits well above standard bathroom mirrors.
