Description
A 16-inch, two-light bathroom vanity light from Innovations Lighting, finished in matte black with hand-blown light smoke deco swirl glass shades - a striking industrial accent for bathrooms and powder rooms.
The Athens Deco Swirl collection pairs a sleek, heavy cast backplate with globe-shaped glass shades that feature a subtle swirl pattern. The matte black finish and smoke glass create a modern, vintage-inspired look that complements industrial, transitional, and contemporary interiors. This fixture is damp-rated, making it suitable for bathrooms and other humid spaces.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror
- Powder rooms and hallways where a compact, stylish light is needed
- Spaces with a modern, industrial, or transitional design theme
- Damp locations such as bathrooms with ventilation
Not ideal for
- Large bathrooms over 60 inches wide - consider a three-light or larger fixture for even illumination
- Outdoor uncovered areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
How bright is it?
Each socket accepts up to a 100W incandescent bulb (bulbs not included), so with two bulbs you can achieve up to 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to two 100W incandescent bulbs. This provides ample light for grooming and daily tasks in a bathroom.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light level. The light color depends on the bulbs you choose; for a warm, flattering glow, select bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The smoke glass shades diffuse the light, reducing glare and creating a soft, ambient effect.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 16 inches wide, 8 inches deep, and 11 inches high, with an 8-inch extension from the wall. It is designed for horizontal mounting and comes with a rectangular backplate (6.25" W x 4.5" H). Ideal for bathrooms with standard 8-foot ceilings.
