Description
A 1-light wall sconce from the Athens collection, finished in polished chrome with a mercury glass shade, rated for damp locations like bathrooms and covered patios.
The Athens sconce combines industrial and transitional styling with a polished chrome frame and a mercury glass globe shade. The mercury finish gives the glass a reflective, slightly iridescent quality that adds depth to the light. Made from steel, cast brass, and glass, this sconce is built to last and is UL and ETL listed for damp locations.

How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. The sconce accepts one medium-base (E26) bulb up to 60W (or LED equivalent). With a typical 60W incandescent or 800-lumen LED, it provides ample accent or task lighting for a bathroom vanity or hallway. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage vintage bulb (ST64 shape recommended).
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm, ambient glow. The shade's reflective coating adds a subtle sparkle. Use a warm white bulb (2700K-3000K) to enhance the vintage feel and flatter skin tones in a bathroom setting.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 8 inches wide, 12.25 inches high, and extends 8.5 inches from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 inches in diameter. It is designed for wall mounting with a center-to-top measurement of 2.5 inches. Ideal for walls with standard stud spacing and clearance for the 8.5-inch projection.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
