A 1-light wall sconce from the Athens collection, finished in brushed satin nickel with a clear basket weave glass shade, perfect for hallways and bedrooms.
The Athens sconce combines heavy cast components with a textured clear basket weave glass globe for a contemporary industrial look. The adjustable arm allows you to direct light, while the transparent glass showcases the bulb and adds visual interest.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors, mounted at eye level for ambient lighting
- Bedrooms as reading sconces beside the bed, with the adjustable arm directing light onto a book

How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. The sconce accepts one medium-base (E26) bulb up to 60W incandescent equivalent. With a standard 60W bulb, expect about 800 lumens - enough for ambient lighting in a hallway or accent lighting in a bedroom. For a softer glow, use a 40W bulb (around 450 lumens).
Light color and feel
Choose your own bulb to set the color temperature. A 2700K-3000K warm white bulb creates a cozy, inviting atmosphere that complements the brushed satin nickel finish. The clear basket weave glass diffuses light gently, reducing glare.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 5.88 inches wide and 12.12 inches high, with a 13.06-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 7.88 inches tall. It works well in hallways of any width and in rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings.

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are not included. We recommend a medium-base (E26) vintage-style bulb such as an ST64 shape.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Dimmability depends on the bulb you choose. Use a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch for best results.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? This sconce is UL and ETL listed for damp locations, so it is safe in bathrooms (away from direct water spray) and covered patios. It is not rated for wet locations like exposed outdoor areas.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
