Description
A 6-inch mini pendant with a mercury glass globe, finished in polished nickel, for kitchen islands and dining areas where you want a touch of vintage-industrial style.
The Athens mini pendant from Innovations Lighting combines industrial-inspired design with refined materials. The polished nickel steel and cast brass canopy supports a mercury glass globe that casts a warm, diffused glow. This fixture is part of the Athens collection and can be customized with shades from the Franklin and Ballston collections, offering versatility in design.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms over a small table (30-36 in round), centered at 30-36 in above the tabletop
- Breakfast nooks or counter seating areas, providing focused light without glare
- Entryways or hallways with 8-9 ft ceilings, used as a single statement pendant

Not ideal for
- Large rooms over 12x14 ft as the sole light source - this is a single 1-light mini pendant with limited brightness
- Spaces with ceilings under 7 ft, as the minimum hanging height is 16.38 in
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp location rated, but not wet location
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. With a standard 60W incandescent equivalent LED bulb (about 800 lumens), it provides ample task lighting for a kitchen island or dining table. For ambient mood lighting, a 40W equivalent (450 lumens) works well. Bulb not included.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shade softens and diffuses light, creating a warm, vintage-inspired glow. For a classic warm ambiance, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulbs.
Sizing and fit
The shade is 5.88 in wide and 4.88 in tall, with an overall fixture height of 7.38 in. Hanging height adjusts from 16.38 in to 40.38 in via 10 ft of wire. The canopy is 4.75 in diameter and 1 in high. Sloped ceiling adaptable.

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are not included. It requires one medium base (E26) bulb, recommended ST64 shape.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Yes, when used with a dimmable bulb and a standard incandescent/LED dimmer. Use a dimmer compatible with LED bulbs if using LED.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is rated for damp locations, so it can be used in bathrooms (not directly in shower spray) and covered outdoor areas.

Can I use a different shade from the Franklin or Ballston collections? Yes, the Edison system allows you to swap shades from those collections for a customized look.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
