The Athens collection from Innovations Lighting combines industrial styling with a transitional appeal. This island light features a sturdy steel and cast brass construction in an antique copper finish, paired with four seedy glass globe shades that diffuse light with a vintage character. How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With four medium-base sockets, you can install up to 60W each (240W total). Using four 60W equivalent LED bulbs (about 800 lumens each), the fixture can produce up to 3200 lumens—enough to illuminate a large kitchen island as the primary light source. For a softer glow, use lower-wattage vintage bulbs.
Light color and feel
The seedy glass shades create a warm, diffused light with a vintage aesthetic. For a classic warm ambiance, use 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The open-bottom design allows some direct light downward, while the glass softens the overall glow. Dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch let you adjust brightness for different occasions.

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are not included. We recommend four medium-base ST64 vintage-style bulbs (sold separately).
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? The fixture itself is dimmable when used with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Use a standard incandescent or LED dimmer rated for the total wattage.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is UL and ETL listed for damp locations, so it can be used in covered outdoor areas or bathrooms with no direct water exposure. Not suitable for wet locations.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
