A 40-inch, 6-light chandelier from the Athens collection, finished in polished chrome with mercury glass shades, ideal for dining rooms and living rooms.
The Athens chandelier combines industrial and transitional styling with a polished chrome frame and six large mercury glass globe shades. The sleek design and versatile finish make it an easy choice for a variety of home décors, from modern to restoration-vintage.
Best for
- Dining rooms with tables 60-72 inches long, hung 30-34 inches above the table
- Living rooms and great rooms with ceilings 9 ft or higher, as a central focal point
- Open-concept spaces where the fixture is visible from multiple angles
- Entryways and foyers with ceilings 8 ft or higher, hung at least 7 ft above the floor
Not ideal for
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft, as the minimum hanging height is 23 inches
- Small powder rooms or hallways where a 40-inch width would overwhelm
How bright is it?
With six medium-base sockets (E26), brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. Using six 60W incandescent bulbs (or equivalent LED) provides approximately 4800 lumens total—enough to illuminate a large dining or living room. Bulbs not included.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shades diffuse light with a soft, vintage glow. For a warm ambiance, use 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The fixture is not dimmer-compatible unless dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer are used.

Overall dimensions: 39.75 inches wide x 39.75 inches deep x 14 inches high. Height adjustable from 23 to 47 inches via the included stem. Canopy is 4.875 inches diameter x 0.875 inches high. Sloped ceiling adaptable. Weight: 6 lbs.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
