The Athens chandelier combines industrial and vintage-inspired design with a sleek matte black finish and mercury glass shades. The six globe-shaped shades diffuse light beautifully, creating a warm ambiance. This stem-hung fixture is adaptable to sloped ceilings and is rated for damp locations, making it versatile for various indoor spaces.
Best for
- Dining rooms with tables 60-72 inches long, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Living rooms and great rooms with 8-10 ft ceilings, centered over a seating area
- Open-concept spaces where a statement fixture is needed to define the dining zone
- Entryways and foyers with two-story ceilings, hung at a height of 7-8 ft from the floor
Not ideal for
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft, as the minimum hanging height is 21 inches
- Outdoor or wet locations, despite damp rating, it is not rated for direct rain exposure
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. The fixture accepts six medium-base bulbs (ST64 shape recommended, not included). Using 60W incandescent equivalent bulbs, total output can reach about 4800 lumens, suitable for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms. For dimmer light, use lower wattage or dimmable LEDs.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shades soften and diffuse light, creating a warm, ambient glow. For a classic warm feel, use 2700K-3000K bulbs. The fixture is dimmable when used with compatible dimmable bulbs and a standard incandescent dimmer.

The chandelier measures 37.75 inches wide and 12 inches high, with an adjustable height from 21 to 45 inches via the included stem. The canopy is 4.875 inches in diameter and 0.875 inches high. It weighs 6 lbs and is suitable for ceilings 8 ft or higher.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
