The Athens collection combines industrial edge with vintage charm. This island light features a polished nickel finish on steel and cast brass, paired with three mercury glass globe shades that diffuse a warm glow. The stem-hung design allows height adjustment from 17.38 to 41.38 inches, making it adaptable to various ceiling heights.

How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose (not included). With three medium-base sockets, using 60W equivalent LED bulbs (approx. 800 lumens each) yields about 2400 lumens total - comparable to a bright overhead light suitable for meal prep and dining. For a softer glow, use lower-wattage vintage bulbs.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shades soften and diffuse light, creating a warm, ambient glow. For a classic vintage look, pair with ST64-shaped bulbs in warm white (2700-3000K). The fixture is dimmable when used with compatible dimmer switches and dimmable bulbs.

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are not included. We recommend three medium-base (E26) ST64-shaped vintage bulbs.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Yes, when used with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Use a standard incandescent/LED dimmer.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is ETL listed for damp locations, suitable for covered patios, sunrooms, or bathrooms with no direct water exposure. Not for wet locations.

How do I clean the mercury glass shades? Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that may damage the mercury finish.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
