How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs used (not included). With two 60W equivalent LED bulbs (recommended), expect around 1600 lumens total - sufficient for a bathroom vanity or powder room. For a softer ambiance, use lower wattage or dimmable bulbs.
Light color and feel
Use bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K for a warm, inviting glow that flatters skin tones. The clear basket weave glass diffuses light gently, reducing glare. Dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch allow you to adjust the mood.

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are not included. We recommend two medium base (E26) vintage ST64 bulbs.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? The fixture is dimmable when used with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Use a standard incandescent or LED dimmer.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is UL and ETL listed for damp locations, suitable for bathrooms but not for wet or outdoor areas.

Can I use different shade styles? Yes, the Athens collection is part of the Edison series, which allows you to swap shades with other compatible glass or metal options from the Franklin and Ballston collections.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
