Description
A 14-inch single-light pendant from Innovations Lighting's Athens collection, finished in oil rubbed bronze with a mercury glass shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Athens pendant combines industrial heritage with modern versatility. Its oil rubbed bronze finish on steel and cast brass is complemented by a mercury glass globe shade that casts a warm, diffused glow. The 10-foot black textured cord allows for sloped ceiling installation, making it adaptable to various spaces.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms with tables 36-48 in wide, centered 30-36 in above the tabletop
- Entryways and foyers with ceilings 8-10 ft, used as a single statement pendant
- Covered patios or screened porches (damp-rated)
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower or tub exposure (damp-rated, not wet-rated)
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 136 in drop
- Primary room lighting in large open-concept areas (single 1-light pendant may be insufficient)
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose (not included). With a recommended 60W equivalent LED bulb, expect around 800 lumens - suitable for task lighting over a kitchen island or ambient light over a dining table. For a softer glow, use a 40W equivalent (450 lumens).
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shade softens and diffuses light, creating a warm, vintage-inspired ambiance. Pair with a 2700K-3000K LED bulb for a cozy, incandescent-like glow that complements the oil rubbed bronze finish.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 13.75 in diameter and 16.62 in height, with an adjustable hanging length from 19.62 to 136.62 in. The canopy is 4.75 in diameter and 1 in high. Works well on sloped ceilings and with 8-10 ft standard ceilings.

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are not included. A medium base (E26) bulb is required; an ST64 vintage-style bulb is recommended for the best look.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? The pendant is dimmable when used with a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer switch. Use a standard incandescent or LED dimmer.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is rated for damp locations, so it can be used in covered outdoor areas or bathrooms away from direct water spray, but not in wet locations.
What's the warranty? Innovations Lighting offers a 2-year finish warranty and a lifetime electrical warranty.
Can this be installed on a sloped ceiling? Yes, the pendant is sloped ceiling adaptable.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
