Description
A 14-inch single-light pendant from the Athens collection, finished in antique brass with a seedy glass shade, designed for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Athens pendant combines industrial-inspired design with transitional versatility. Its antique brass finish and seedy glass shade evoke a vintage aesthetic, while the included LED bulb provides efficient, warm illumination. The fixture is damp-rated, making it suitable for covered outdoor areas as well.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms with tables 36-48 in wide, centered 30-36 in above the table surface
- Covered patios or porches, thanks to its damp location rating
- Entryways and foyers with 8-10 ft ceilings, used as a single statement pendant
Not ideal for
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft, as the minimum hanging height is 25.12 in
- Primary room lighting in large open-concept areas (over 200 sq ft) without additional fixtures
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure (damp-rated, not wet-rated)
How bright is it?
600 lumens from the included 6W LED bulb - about as bright as a 40W incandescent, ideal for task and ambient lighting over a kitchen island or dining table. For larger rooms, consider multiple pendants.
Light color and feel
2700K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. Flatters skin tones and warm wood/brass interiors. CRI 82 provides good color rendering for everyday use.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 13.75 in wide and 16.12 in tall, with a 13.75 in diameter shade. Hanging height adjusts from 25.12 to 49.12 in via 10 ft of wire. Canopy is 4.75 in diameter and 1 in tall. Suitable for sloped ceilings.

Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? The included LED bulb is dimmable; use a standard LED-compatible dimmer for best results.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is rated for damp locations, so it can be used in bathrooms (away from direct water) and covered outdoor areas, but not in wet locations exposed to rain.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
