Description
An 8-inch mini pendant with a polished nickel finish and white rope accent, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Astor collection features an intricate stem with a detailed metal or rope design, blending rustic charm with modern elegance. This mini pendant has a polished nickel finish with a white rope secondary finish, and a seeded glass globe shade that adds texture and depth. The adjustable stem lengths allow for customizable hanging heights, making it a versatile lighting solution.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for focused task lighting
- Dining rooms, providing ambient light over a table
- Entryways and foyers, adding a warm welcome
- Living rooms and sitting areas, as accent lighting
- Covered patios and sunrooms, as it is damp-rated
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces with very low ceilings, as the minimum hanging height is 18.5 inches
- Rooms requiring bright, direct task lighting, as a single 100W bulb provides moderate illumination
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to 1600 lumens, comparable to a traditional 100W bulb. This is suitable for ambient and task lighting in medium-sized areas, but not as a primary light for large open spaces.
Light color and feel
The seeded glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm and inviting glow. If you use a warm white LED (2700K-3000K), the light will feel cozy and complement the polished nickel and white rope finishes. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
This mini pendant measures 8 inches in diameter and 11.75 inches in height. The hanging height is adjustable from 18.5 to 42.5 inches using the included stems (one 6-inch and two 12-inch). It is sloped ceiling adaptable with a 90-degree swivel, making it versatile for various ceiling types.
