Description
A mini pendant with a globe glass shade in matte white, finished in matte black, for kitchen islands, dining rooms, and entryways.
The Astor stands out with its intricate stem, available in detailed metal or rope designs, offering a refined balance between rustic charm and modern elegance. Its globe shade effortlessly adds texture and depth to any room. The matte black finish and matte white glass create a versatile look that fits industrial, modern, and transitional interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for a warm, inviting glow
- Entryways and foyers, adding a statement piece
- Breakfast nooks and counter seating, providing focused light
- Living rooms, over a coffee table or sideboard
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this pendant is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain or moisture
- Spaces with low ceilings if you need a longer hanging length - the maximum drop is 40.75 inches
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. It accepts up to a 100W incandescent equivalent (or compatible LED, fluorescent, or halogen). A 60W equivalent LED would provide about 800 lumens, suitable for ambient and task lighting.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The matte white glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a pleasant ambiance.
Sizing and fit
This mini pendant measures 8 inches in diameter and 11.75 inches high. It includes one 6-inch and two 12-inch stems, allowing a hanging length from 16.75 to 40.75 inches. It works well over kitchen islands and dining tables with standard 8-foot ceilings. The canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter.
