Description
An 8-inch single-light mini pendant from Innovations Lighting's Astor collection, finished in polished nickel with a seedy glass globe shade - ideal for kitchen islands, dining areas, and entryways.
The Astor mini pendant features an intricate stem and a hand-blown seedy glass globe, offering a refined balance between rustic charm and modern elegance. The polished nickel finish and textured seedy glass add depth and character, fitting industrial, modern, and transitional interiors. With a 120-inch adjustable cord and sloped ceiling compatibility, it adapts to various ceiling heights.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, providing focused task lighting
- Dining rooms, as a compact ambient light over a table
- Entryways and hallways, adding a welcoming glow
- Living rooms and reading nooks, as a stylish accent
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 133-inch hanging length
- Large open rooms needing high brightness - it's a single 100W bulb, best for accent or task lighting
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but it accepts one 100W medium-base bulb (not included). With a standard 100W incandescent, expect roughly 1600 lumens - sufficient for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table, but not a primary light for a large room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, pair with a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The seedy glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a gentle, textured ambiance.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 8"L x 8"W x 12"H, with a shade of 8"D x 8"W x 7"H. The hanging height adjusts from 15.75" to 132.75" via the 120-inch cord. The canopy is 4.75" in diameter, and the fixture weighs 2.6 lbs.
