Description
A 14-inch single-light pendant with a satin nickel finish and matte white glass globe shade, perfect for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Astor pendant stands out with its intricate stem, available in detailed metal or rope designs, offering a refined balance between rustic charm and modern elegance. Its hand-blown glass globe shade adds texture and depth to any room. The fixture includes adjustable stems for customizable hanging length.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for a warm, inviting glow
- Entryways and foyers, making a statement with its globe silhouette
- Spaces with industrial, modern contemporary, or transitional decor
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is rated for damp, not wet, locations
- Low ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging length is 25 inches
- Spaces needing bright, focused task lighting—this pendant provides ambient illumination
How bright is it?
The fixture is rated for a 100W incandescent bulb, but lumen output depends on the bulb you choose. With a standard 60W bulb, you can expect around 800 lumens, similar to a traditional 60W incandescent. For brighter light, use an LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you select. For a warm, cozy feel, choose a 2700K-3000K bulb. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood. The matte white glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 14 inches in diameter and 18.38 inches high. The hanging length is adjustable from 25.13 to 49.13 inches using the included stems. It works well over kitchen islands and dining tables with standard 8-9 foot ceilings.
