Description
A 1-light pendant from the Astor collection, featuring a polished nickel stem and a matte white glass globe shade - perfect for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Astor pendant combines rustic charm with modern elegance. Its intricate stem design and hand-blown glass globe add texture and depth. The polished nickel finish is sleek and versatile, fitting transitional and contemporary interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung 30-36 in above the counter
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for ambient light
- Entryways and foyers with 8-10 ft ceilings
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings - includes a 90-degree swivel
Not ideal for
- Low ceilings under 7 ft - minimum hanging height is 25 in
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp rated but not wet rated
- Spaces needing bright task lighting - this is more ambient
How bright is it?
Accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With an LED equivalent, you can achieve up to 1600 lumens - enough for ambient lighting over a dining table or island. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage bulb.
Light color and feel
Choose bulbs with 2700K-3000K for a warm, inviting light. The matte white glass diffuses light evenly, reducing glare. Dimmable with compatible dimmer switches.
