Description
A 14-inch single-light stem pendant from the Astor collection, finished in brushed brass with a seedy glass globe shade - ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Astor pendant stands out with its intricate stem, available in detailed metal or rope designs, offering a refined balance between rustic charm and modern elegance. Its hand-blown globe shade adds texture and depth, while the brushed brass finish brings warmth to any space. This fixture is damp-rated, making it suitable for covered outdoor areas as well.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient light
- Dining rooms with tables 48-72 in wide, centered above the table
- Entryways and foyers with 9-10 ft ceilings, adding a warm welcome
- Covered patios or porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Breakfast nooks and eat-in kitchens, providing focused illumination
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - while damp-rated, it's not wet-rated for spray
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 30-inch hanging length
- Large open-plan rooms needing primary ambient light - this is a single 100W fixture
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W bulb (not included), this pendant can deliver up to 1600 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent, ideal for task lighting over a counter or table. For a softer glow, use a 60W equivalent LED.
Light color and feel
The seedy glass shade diffuses light, creating a warm, textured glow. Compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs, so you can choose your color temperature - from warm 2700K to cool 5000K. Dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulbs.
