Description
A 14-inch, 1-light pendant from Innovations Lighting's Astor collection, finished in matte black with a seedy glass globe shade - a versatile, hand-blown glass pendant for kitchen islands, dining rooms, and entryways.
The Astor pendant stands out with its intricate stem, available in detailed metal or rope designs, offering a refined balance between rustic charm and modern elegance. The globe shade, made of hand-blown seedy glass, adds texture and depth to any room. The matte black finish and industrial styling make it a perfect fit for modern, transitional, or restoration-vintage interiors. The 120-inch cord can be cut to your desired length, and it's sloped ceiling compatible.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row or singly for task and ambient light
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for a warm, inviting glow
- Entryways and foyers, adding a statement piece with vintage character
- Living rooms and reading nooks, providing focused light over a side table or chair
- Damp-rated locations like covered patios or bathrooms with ventilation
Not ideal for
- Outdoor or uncovered areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord - you'll need to cut it
- Anyone who wants a fixture with a metal shade - this one uses a glass globe
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) for a potential output of up to 1600 lumens - enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table. With dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer, you can lower the light for a softer ambiance.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, use 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The seedy glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm, textured glow. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 14 inches in diameter and 18.5 inches high, with a hanging height range of 22.25 to 139.25 inches (including the 120-inch cord). The canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter. It's sloped ceiling compatible, making it versatile for various ceiling types.
