Description
A 14-inch cord pendant from the Astor collection, featuring a matte black metal frame with a seedy glass globe shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Astor pendant stands out with its intricate stem, available in detailed metal or rope designs, offering a refined balance between rustic charm and modern elegance. Its globe shade effortlessly adds texture and depth to any room. The matte black finish and seedy glass create a vintage-industrial look that complements a variety of decor styles.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task lighting over a 6-8 ft counter
- Dining rooms, centered above a table for ambient light
- Entryways and hallways, adding a welcoming glow
- Coffee bars or home bars, highlighting a serving area
- Bedrooms, as a bedside pendant on each side of the bed
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, primary illumination - this is an accent light, not a main light source
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - rated for damp locations, not wet
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you prefer a flush mount - this pendant hangs 18.5 inches
How bright is it?
This pendant is compatible with a 100W incandescent bulb (not included). The actual brightness depends on the bulb you choose. For reference, a 100W incandescent bulb emits about 1600 lumens, which is bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you select. For a warm, cozy glow, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the ambiance to suit your mood.
