Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms, providing focused light over a table
- Entryways and foyers, creating a welcoming focal point
- Breakfast nooks and bar areas, adding a cozy glow
- Living rooms and bedrooms, as accent lighting
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is only damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with very low ceilings, as the minimum hanging height is 19.25 inches
- Areas requiring bright task lighting, as it is rated for a maximum 100W bulb
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. With a recommended 60W equivalent LED bulb, you can expect around 800 lumens, similar to a traditional 60W incandescent. The fixture is rated for up to 100W, so you can achieve up to 1600 lumens with a bright LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you install. For a warm, cozy feel, choose a 2700K-3000K bulb. For a cooler, more energizing light, opt for 3500K-4000K. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
The shade is 12 inches in diameter and 10.63 inches high. The overall fixture height is 15.5 inches, with a minimum hanging height of 19.25 inches and a maximum of 136.25 inches, thanks to the 120-inch cord. The canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter. It weighs 2.6 lbs.
