Description
A 12-inch mini pendant from the Astor collection, finished in satin nickel with a matte white glass globe shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Astor stands out with its intricate stem, available in detailed metal or rope designs, offering a refined balance between rustic charm and modern elegance. Its globe shade effortlessly adds texture and depth to any room. The satin nickel finish and matte white shade create a clean, contemporary look that brightens any space.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms, centered above a table for focused illumination
- Breakfast nooks and counter seating areas
- Entryways and hallways, adding a statement piece
- Living rooms with high ceilings, used as accent lighting
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need a longer hanging length
- Primary room lighting in large open-plan areas - it's a single 100W bulb
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but it accepts a 100W incandescent bulb (or equivalent LED), which typically produces around 1600 lumens - bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table, but not a replacement for a large chandelier.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy glow, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The matte white shade diffuses light evenly, reducing glare and creating a soft, ambient glow. Dimmable with compatible dimmer and bulb.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 12"(L) x 12"(W) x 15.5"(H). Hanging height adjustable from 19.25" to 136.25" using the 120" cord, which can be cut to desired length. Canopy is 4.75" diameter. Suitable for sloped ceilings.
