Description
A 12-inch mini pendant from the Astor collection, finished in matte black with a matte white glass globe shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Astor stands out with its intricate stem, available in detailed metal or rope designs, offering a refined balance between rustic charm and modern elegance. Its globe shade effortlessly adds texture and depth to any room. The matte black metal and matte white glass create a versatile look that suits industrial, modern, and transitional interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms, providing a warm glow over a table
- Entryways and foyers, adding a sculptural accent
- Coffee bars and reading nooks, as a focused light source
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as the damp rating does not cover wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord length
- Primary room lighting in large open-plan areas, as a single 100W bulb may not suffice
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but it accepts up to a 100W incandescent bulb (or equivalent LED/CFL), which typically produces 1600 lumens - bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright task lighting to soft ambient light.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 12 inches in diameter and 15.5 inches in height, with an adjustable cord up to 120 inches. It is sloped ceiling compatible, making it versatile for various ceiling types. The canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter.
