Description
A 10-inch cord mini pendant from the Astor Collection, finished in matte black with a matte white glass globe, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Astor mini pendant features a distinctive stem with detailed metal or rope designs, blending rustic charm with modern elegance. Its hand-blown glass globe adds texture and depth, while the matte black finish on metal provides a versatile, industrial look.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for focused illumination
- Breakfast nooks and counter seating areas
- Entryways and hallways, adding a warm industrial accent
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Large open living rooms where a single mini pendant may be too small to provide adequate light
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is rated for damp, not wet, locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 17.5 inches
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W bulb (not included), this pendant can provide ample light. For reference, a 60W incandescent bulb produces about 800 lumens, so brightness depends on the bulb you choose. It is compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you install. For a warm, cozy feel, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 10 inches in diameter and 13.75 inches high. It includes 120 inches of black cord, which can be cut to your desired length, allowing for a hanging height range of 17.5 to 134.5 inches. The canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter.
