Description
A 10-inch one-light mini pendant from the Astor Collection, finished in polished nickel with a clear glass globe - a refined accent for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Astor mini pendant stands out with its intricate stem, available in detailed metal or rope designs, offering a refined balance between rustic charm and modern elegance. Its clear glass globe shade adds texture and depth to any room, while the polished nickel finish brings a bright, contemporary touch. With adjustable stems, it adapts to various ceiling heights and spaces.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task lighting and visual interest
- Dining rooms, providing focused light over a table or counter
- Entryways and foyers, as a welcoming accent light
- Breakfast nooks and bar areas, adding a touch of modern elegance
- Covered patios or sunrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain or moisture - not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need a longer hanging length - the maximum drop is 43.75 inches
How bright is it?
With a single 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can produce up to 1500 lumens - about as bright as a 100W bulb. That's ideal for accent or task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table, but not as a primary room light. It's compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs, so you can choose a lower-wattage LED for energy savings.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shade provides a crisp, unobstructed light. For a warm, inviting glow, choose a 2700K-3000K bulb. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit the mood. The polished nickel finish reflects light, adding a bright, airy feel to the space.
Sizing and fit
This mini pendant measures 10 inches in diameter and 13.75 inches in height, with a minimum hanging height of 19.75 inches and a maximum of 43.75 inches.
