Description
A 1-light swing arm sconce from the Adirondack collection, finished in polished nickel with a matte black metal shade, designed for bedside reading or accent lighting in living spaces.
The Adirondack swing arm sconce combines industrial and farmhouse styling with a sturdy steel and cast brass construction. The polished nickel backplate and arm contrast with the matte black dome shade, creating a versatile fixture that works in a range of interiors. The adjustable arm lets you direct light exactly where needed.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading light with the swing arm positioned over a nightstand

How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose (not included). Using a standard 60W equivalent LED bulb (about 800 lumens), it provides ample task light for reading. For a softer ambient glow, use a lower-wattage vintage-style bulb.
Light color and feel
The matte black metal shade directs light downward and outward, creating a focused beam. Pair with a warm white bulb (2700K-3000K) for a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The open bottom design allows some light to spill upward for a subtle halo effect.

The sconce measures 8.25 inches wide and 12 inches tall, with a 13.62-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 7.88 inches tall. Ideal for walls with at least 14 inches of clearance from the mounting point to allow full swing arm movement.

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are not included. The fixture accepts one medium base (E26) bulb, recommended shape ST64.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Dimmability depends on the bulb used. If you install a dimmable LED bulb, it will work with a standard dimmer switch.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? Yes, it is rated for damp locations, so it is suitable for bathrooms (not directly in the shower) and covered outdoor areas.

How does the swing arm work? The arm pivots at the wall mount, allowing you to adjust the light direction horizontally. The shade is fixed but can be angled by repositioning the arm.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
