Description
A three-light chandelier with a hand-woven abaca rope shade and Vintage Gold Leaf suspension, made for dining rooms and kitchen islands.
Pleasant Plains reimagines the classic bowl chandelier in twisted abaca rope, hand-woven by skilled artisans. Three rope supports echo the shade and connect it to the Vintage Gold Leaf frame, giving the piece a light, airy feel. Because the rope is natural, exact color and pattern vary slightly from piece to piece - no two are identical.
Best for
- Dining rooms with 8-10 ft ceilings, centered over a table 48-60 in wide
- Kitchen islands where you want a warm, organic focal point
- Coastal, organic modern, and California casual interiors
- Entryways and foyers with enough ceiling height for the 22.25-73.25 in hang range
Not ideal for
- Low ceilings under 8 ft - the minimum hang height is 22.25 in
- Rooms that need bright task lighting - three 10W candelabra bulbs give soft, ambient output
- Spaces where you want a fully enclosed shade - the rope bowl is open and airy
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With three 10W E12 candelabra bulbs, expect warm ambient light - enough to set a mood over a dining table, not to light a whole room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the B11 bulbs you choose. A 2700K warm white bulb will complement the natural abaca rope and Vintage Gold Leaf finish. Dimmability depends on the bulb and dimmer used; the fixture does not include a dimmer.
