Hudson Valley Luther 16in 1-Light Picture Light | Vintage Aged Brass and Brass | Living Room & Hallway Art Light | 16.5 x 3 in | Model 7917-AGB

A slim, articulating picture light in aged brass that puts artwork, portraits, and gallery walls in their best light.

Luther brings a romantic, vintage touch to the classic picture light. The slim metalwork is finished in Aged Brass and accented with decorative metal detailing, including a scalloped backplate with a botanical feel rooted in vintage design. An integrated LED tube delivers crisp, even illumination, and the articulating arm lets you aim light exactly where you want it.

Best for

• Living rooms and hallways, mounted above framed art or a gallery wall
• Home offices and studies, lighting a portrait or print without glare
• Bedrooms, as a focused accent over a favorite piece
• Dining rooms and entries where artwork is the focal point

Not ideal for

• Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for damp locations only
• Spaces needing a primary room light - at 250 lumens this is accent lighting
• Very large canvases wider than 16.5 in, where a longer picture light would cover better

How bright is it?

250 lumens - roughly the output of a 25W incandescent bulb. It is designed for accent and artwork illumination, not as a primary room light.

Light color and feel

2700K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. With a CRI of 90, colors render accurately, which matters for art and photography. Dimmable with a TRIAC dimmer.

Sizing and fit

Overall 16.5 in wide x 3 in high with a 10 in extension from the wall. The backplate measures 3 in W x 7.25 in L x 0.25 in H. Best suited to framed pieces up to about 16 in wide, mounted at eye level above the art.
