Description
A softly gathered 18-inch drum lamp shade in Bloom Slate printed cotton, made to refresh a table lamp or floor lamp base you already own.
The Gathered Drum Shade pairs a classic drum silhouette with gently gathered fabric for a warm, layered look. The printed cotton textile in Bloom Slate gives it a soft, muted tone that sits easily in traditional, transitional, and cottage-style rooms. It is a straightforward way to change the mood of a lamp without replacing the whole piece.
Best for
- Bedrooms and living rooms, refreshing a table lamp or floor lamp base with a softer fabric look
- Traditional and transitional interiors where a gathered drum shape fits the existing furniture
- Rental-friendly updates - swap the shade instead of the lamp
- Pairing two shades on a matched pair of bedside lamps
Not ideal for
- Lamp bases that need a hard-back or lined shade for directed light - this is a printed cotton textile shade
- Very large lamp bases that call for a wider shade than 18 inches at the bottom
- Outdoor or covered patio use - rated for dry locations only
Style and finish
Bloom Slate is a soft, muted printed cotton finish with a gathered drum shape. The textile reads warm and relaxed rather than crisp, which suits traditional, transitional, and cottage-inspired rooms.
Materials and care
Printed cotton textile over a drum frame. Care instructions not specified by the manufacturer; dust gently with a soft brush or vacuum attachment.
Sizing and fit
Overall 18 in wide x 10.5 in high. Shade dimensions are 17 in top width, 18 in bottom width, and 10.5 in high. The slight taper from top to bottom keeps the drum proportion balanced on most standard table and floor lamp bases.
