Hudson Valley Glendale 16in 9-Light Pendant | Chic Vintage Polished Nickel | Dining Room & Foyer | 16.25 x 16.25 x 30 in | Model 8916-PN

A 9-light polished nickel pendant for dining rooms and foyers that want a vintage-industrial centerpiece with real presence.

The Glendale pairs a bright polished nickel finish with a candelabra cluster, giving it the look of an old factory fixture cleaned up for a modern home. Nine exposed bulbs sit on curved arms, so the light reads as a warm, layered glow rather than a single bright source. It suits rooms with higher ceilings where a statement piece can hang without crowding the space.

Best for

• Dining rooms with 9 ft or higher ceilings, hung over the table as the main statement light
• Two-story foyers and stairwells where a 30 in tall pendant fills the vertical space
• Industrial loft or vintage-inspired interiors that lean on exposed bulbs and metal
• Open kitchens with an island large enough to anchor a 16 in wide fixture

Not ideal for

• Low ceilings under 8 ft - at 30 in tall this pendant needs hanging room
• Small powder rooms or tight hallways where a 16 in wide, 9-bulb fixture would overwhelm
• Anyone wanting a shaded, glare-free light - the bulbs are exposed by design

How bright is it?

Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With nine 60W candelabra bulbs it is built as a high-output statement fixture, bright enough to serve as the primary light over a dining table rather than as accent lighting.

Light color and feel

Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose - the fixture ships with bulbs included. Warm-white bulbs will flatter the polished nickel and wood dining furniture; the polished nickel finish reflects light and adds a crisp, cool sparkle to the room.

Sizing and fit

Overall dimensions are 16.25 in long x 16.25 in wide x 30 in high, with 96 in of wire. The 30 in body height means it works best in rooms with 9 ft ceilings or taller; in an 8 ft room the bottom of the pendant would sit low over a table. Plan on a hanging height that leaves roughly 30-36 in between the fixture bottom and the tabletop.
