House of Troy Uptown 30in 2-Light Pendant | Black and Satin Nickel with Off White Linen Shade | Kitchen Island & Dining Room | Model UP502-BLK-SN

A 30-inch two-light pendant in black and satin nickel with an off-white linen hardback shade, sized for kitchen islands and dining rooms.

The Uptown two-light pendant offers a wider span for larger islands or dining tables, with a crisp black and satin nickel finish that suits transitional and modern interiors. The off-white linen hardback shade diffuses light evenly and adds a tailored look.

Best for

• Kitchen islands 8-10 ft long, hung as a single statement or in a row
• Dining rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, centered over a 60-72 in table
• Entryways and foyers where a wider pendant adds a warm welcome
• Bedrooms with higher ceilings, as a reading light beside the bed

Not ideal for

• Low ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 41-inch hanging height
• Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
• Small rooms where a 30-inch wide pendant would overwhelm the space

How bright is it?

With two 100W incandescent bulbs (not included), this pendant provides ample task and ambient light for a kitchen island or dining table. Lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose; two standard 100W equivalent LEDs will give roughly 3200 lumens total.

Light color and feel

The light color depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, inviting glow similar to traditional incandescent, choose 2700K-3000K bulbs. The off-white linen shade softens the light and reduces glare, making it comfortable for dining and conversation areas.

Sizing and fit

Overall dimensions are 30 inches in diameter and up to 41 inches in height, with a 5-inch round canopy. The pendant hangs from a 30-59 inch adjustable rod or chain (not specified). The 13 x 14 x 9 inch shade is proportioned for standard 8-9 ft ceilings. We recommend hanging the bottom of the pendant 30-36 inches above a kitchen island or 30-34 inches above a dining table.
