Description
A 36-inch LED picture light in bronze that lights wide artwork, panoramas, and gallery walls with a soft, even wash.
From House of Troy's Classic Traditional collection, this slim metal picture light spans larger frames and throws diffused, UV-free light across the canvas. The bronze finish is a deep, warm brown metal tone that pairs naturally with wood frames, oil paintings, and traditional interiors.
Best for
- Living rooms and dining rooms with wide framed art or panoramas
- Gallery walls and long hallway collections
- Studies and libraries lighting a large canvas or map
- Built-ins and mantels where artwork needs dedicated accent light
Not ideal for
- Small frames under about 24 inches wide - the 36-inch shade will overhang
- Spaces where you want a hard spotlight rather than a soft, diffused wash
- Hardwired-only installations - this model uses a cord and in-line switch
How bright is it?
1080 lumens - roughly comparable to a 75W incandescent bulb, spread across the artwork rather than the room. It is an accent light, not a primary room light.
Light color and feel
2700K warm white with a 90 CRI, so reds, skin tones, and warm woods render accurately. The diffuser spreads light evenly with no UV output, which helps protect artwork from fading. Dimmable with a standard dimmer.
Sizing and fit
36 inches wide, 2.25 inches tall, and 5 to 7 inches deep from the wall. Suited to frames up to about 36 inches wide; the in-line switch sits 3 feet from the plug on the cord.
