House of Troy Traditional 9in 1-Light Picture Light | Classic Statuary Bronze Metal Shade | Living Room & Hallway Art Accent | Model T9-56

A 9-inch plug-in picture light in statuary bronze, made to wash framed art, portraits, and gallery walls in warm accent light.

Part of House of Troy's Classic Traditional collection, this slim picture light mounts above a frame and telescopes out from 5 to 7 inches so you can aim the beam across the canvas. The statuary bronze finish is a deep, dark brown with subtle warmth, pairing naturally with dark wood frames, leather, and traditional interiors. It plugs into any standard outlet with a 2-prong cord and switches on and off with an in-line hi-lo control.

Best for

• Living rooms and hallways with framed art, portraits, or gallery walls that need dedicated accent light
• Home offices and studies where a picture light highlights a print or diploma above a desk
• Renters and anyone without in-wall wiring - this is a plug-in design, no hardwiring required
• Traditional and transitional interiors with dark wood and bronze hardware

Not ideal for

• Very large canvases - the 9-inch shade suits small to medium frames, not oversized statement art
• Spaces where a visible cord is unacceptable; the 2-prong plug-in cord must reach an outlet
• Outdoor or bathroom use - no damp or wet rating is stated for this fixture

How bright is it?

Brightness depends on the bulb you install. It takes one 25W or 40W T10 incandescent bulb (not included), so expect roughly 200-450 lumens - enough to accent a frame, not to light a room.

Light color and feel

Color temperature follows the bulb you choose; with a standard incandescent T10 you get a warm, golden 2700K glow that flatters oil paintings, photographs, and wood frames. No dimmer is required - the in-line hi-lo switch gives you two brightness levels.

Sizing and fit

The shade measures 9 inches wide and the arm telescopes from 5 to 7 inches of extension, so it clears most frame depths. Overall dimensions are 9 in W x 5 in D x 2 in H and the unit weighs 2 lbs. Best suited to walls with an outlet within cord reach.
