House of Troy Traditional 4in 1-Light Picture Light | Classic Bronze Metal Shade | Living Room & Gallery Art | 5-7 in Extension | Model T4-5

A 4-inch plug-in picture light in bronze, made to wash small paintings, prints, and photographs in warm accent light.

Part of House of Troy's Traditional collection, this compact picture light mounts above the frame and tilts light down across the canvas. The bronze finish keeps it quiet against dark wood frames and traditional interiors, and the plug-in cord means no hardwiring is needed.

Best for

• Living rooms and hallways with framed art up to about 24 inches wide
• Home offices and studies where a print or diploma needs dedicated light
• Gallery walls where a small, unobtrusive accent light is preferred
• Rentals or apartments - plugs into a standard outlet with no wiring

Not ideal for

• Large canvases or wide murals - a 4-inch shade covers a narrow band of light
• Installations where a visible cord is unacceptable
• Outdoor or damp spaces - no wet or damp rating is stated for this fixture

How bright is it?

Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. It takes one 15W T7 incandescent bulb, which produces a soft accent glow suited to highlighting art rather than lighting a room.

Light color and feel

Color temperature depends on the bulb you install; the fixture ships without a bulb. A warm-white incandescent bulb flatters oil paintings and warm-toned prints. Brightness is adjusted with the in-line hi-lo switch on the cord.

Sizing and fit

The shade is 4 inches wide and the arm extends 5 to 7 inches from the wall, so it clears most frame depths. Overall dimensions are W 2 in x D 10 in x H 13 in. Weighs 1 lb.
