House of Troy Traditional 30in 4-Light Picture Light | Classic Pewter Metal | Living Room & Gallery Art | 30 x 5 x 2.25 in | Model T30-31

A 30-inch plug-in picture light in pewter, designed to illuminate large artwork, portraits, and gallery walls with warm, even light.

The Traditional series from House of Troy is a classic picture light design, updated with a clean pewter finish that suits both traditional and transitional interiors. The metal shade directs light downward across the canvas, while the telescoping arm lets you set the light 5 to 7 inches from the wall for the right spread. A 2-prong cord and in-line hi-lo switch make it easy to install without an electrician.

Best for

• Living rooms and dens with large paintings or prints 30 inches wide or more
• Galleries and hallways where artwork needs consistent, low-glare illumination
• Home offices with a statement piece behind the desk
• Bedrooms with a large mirror or artwork above a dresser

Not ideal for

• Very small artworks under 20 inches wide - the 30-inch shade will overhang
• Spaces without a nearby outlet, since this is a plug-in fixture with a 2-prong cord
• Bathrooms or outdoor areas - not rated for damp or wet locations

How bright is it?

Uses four 25W or 40W T10 incandescent bulbs (not included). Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but with four 40W bulbs it provides ample accent light for a large canvas without washing out the artwork.

Light color and feel

With incandescent T10 bulbs, the light is warm white (around 2700K), which brings out the warmth in oil paintings and wood frames. The in-line hi-lo switch lets you dim between two brightness levels. For cooler or more energy-efficient light, compatible LED T10 bulbs can be used.

Sizing and fit

The shade is 30 inches wide, and the arm telescopes from 5 to 7 inches from the wall. Overall dimensions are 30 x 5 x 2.25 inches. This size suits medium to large artworks and rooms with at least 8-foot ceilings.
