House of Troy Steamer 16in 1-Light LED Picture Light | Traditional Mahogany Bronze and Antique Brass Metal | Living Room | Model DSTLEDZ16-MBAB

A 16-inch LED picture light in mahogany bronze with antique brass accents, made to wash artwork, portraits, and gallery walls in warm, even light.

The Steamer reverses the classic two-tone look - a deep mahogany bronze body trimmed in antique brass - for a traditional fixture that sits quietly against dark frames and wood paneling. The diffused LED strip spreads light evenly across the canvas instead of leaving hot spots, and the UV-free output is a safer choice for framed art, prints, and photographs.

Best for

• Living rooms and studies lighting a single framed painting or print 16 to 30 in wide
• Gallery walls and stairwell art displays where even, glare-free wash matters
• Home offices and libraries highlighting a shelf or mantel arrangement
• Traditional interiors with dark wood, leather, and bronze accents

Not ideal for

• Very large canvases over 30 in wide - step up to the 30-inch Steamer for full coverage
• Rooms where you want a broad ambient wash - this is an accent light, not a room light
• Installations outside the United States - wired for 110V US use only

How bright is it?

360 lumens from a 4.5W integrated LED - roughly the accent brightness of a 40W incandescent, enough to make a painting glow without spilling harsh light into the room.

Light color and feel

2700K warm white gives a soft, golden tone close to traditional incandescent, which flatters warm woods, bronze, and oil paintings. A CRI of 90 renders colors accurately, so reds and skin tones in portraits stay true. Dimmable with a standard dimmer.

Sizing and fit

Overall 16 in wide x 12 in deep x 4.5 in high, with a 16 in metal shade and a 4.5 x 6 in backplate. The 12 in projection reaches out over the frame; mount above the artwork with the arm extending forward. Best on walls with at least 8 ft ceilings.
