Description
A 16-inch picture light that highlights artwork with a warm, focused glow, finished in satin nickel with black accents.
The Steamer picture light brings a classic, gallery-inspired look to your home. The metal shade directs light downward onto paintings, photographs, or wall decor, while the satin nickel finish with black accents adds a sleek, modern touch. It's a natural fit for living rooms, hallways, and home galleries where you want to showcase art without glare.
Best for
- Living rooms and hallways with medium-sized artwork (up to 16 inches wide)
- Home galleries or studies where you want to highlight a favorite piece
- Above a fireplace mantel or console table with framed art
- Bedrooms as a reading light over a headboard (if hardwired)
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or outdoor areas - this fixture is ETL listed for dry locations only
- Very large artworks wider than 16 inches - consider the 30-inch version for better coverage
- Spaces where you need bright, ambient lighting - this is an accent light
How bright is it?
Uses two 40W T10 incandescent bulbs (not included). Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but 40W bulbs typically produce around 400-450 lumens each, providing focused accent lighting rather than room-filling brightness.
Light color and feel
With incandescent bulbs, you get a warm, yellowish light (around 2700K) that enhances the warmth of wood and metal tones. Bulbs are not included, so you can choose the color temperature you prefer.
