House of Troy Slim-line 6in 1-Light Picture Light | Traditional White Metal Shade | Living Room & Gallery Art Accent | 6 in Shade, 8 in | Model SL6-9

A 6-inch plug-in picture light in white that washes small canvases, prints, and gallery walls in warm accent light without any wiring.

Part of House of Troy's Slim-line series, this picture light keeps a low, unobtrusive profile so the artwork stays the star. The white finish blends into light-colored walls and traditional interiors, while the slim metal shade directs light down the face of the piece. It plugs into any standard outlet with a 2-prong cord, so renters and anyone without an electrician on speed dial can install it in minutes.

Best for

• Living rooms and hallways displaying framed prints, photographs, or small canvases up to about 24 inches wide
• Home offices and studies where a single piece of art anchors the wall
• Rentals and apartments - plug-in design needs no hardwiring
• Gallery walls where a discreet, low-profile shade keeps attention on the art

Not ideal for

• Large statement canvases over 30 inches wide - the 6-inch shade covers a narrow band of light
• Rooms where you want the light itself to be a visible design feature
• Spaces without a nearby outlet, since the cord is the power source

How bright is it?

One 15T4 incandescent bulb (included) provides a soft, low-level accent glow - enough to bring out texture and color in a painting, not enough to light a room. Think museum-style highlighting rather than general illumination.

Light color and feel

Incandescent output gives a warm, golden-white tone that flatters oil, acrylic, and photography without the cool cast of many LEDs. The in-line hi-lo switch lets you step between two brightness levels for daytime and evening viewing.

Sizing and fit

The shade measures 6 inches wide and extends 8 inches from the wall, with an overall profile of 3 in W x 11 in D x 23 in H. Best suited to artwork roughly 18-30 inches wide and walls with at least 8-foot ceilings.
