House of Troy Slim-line 24in 4-Light Picture Light | Slim Satin Nickel Metal | Living Room & Gallery Art Accent | 24 in Shade, 8.5 in | Model XL24-52

A 24-inch plug-in picture light in satin nickel, made to spotlight a wide framed artwork without hardwiring.

The Slim-line series keeps the profile low and the light even, so the fixture fades into the background and the art leads. The satin nickel finish is cool and softly brushed, pairing naturally with black frames, black-and-white photography, and modern interiors. A 2-prong cord and in-line hi-lo switch let you mount it over a canvas and simply plug it in.

Best for

• Living rooms and dining rooms with a wide framed piece or oversized print
• Gallery walls and stairwell art where a 24-inch span of even light is needed
• Rentals and apartments where hardwiring is not an option
• Home offices highlighting a large map or certificate

Not ideal for

• Small frames under about 18 inches wide - the 24-inch shade will overrun the edges
• Spaces where a visible cord is unacceptable; this is a plug-in design
• Anyone expecting a hardwired wall sconce - this model uses a 2-prong cord

How bright is it?

Four 15T4 incandescent bulbs are included. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but this is accent lighting intended to graze artwork, not to light a room.

Light color and feel

Incandescent 15T4 bulbs give a warm, traditional glow that flatters oil paintings, warm-toned prints, and wood frames. Color temperature is not specified by the manufacturer. Brightness is adjusted with the in-line hi-lo switch.

Sizing and fit

The shade measures 24 inches wide and extends 8.5 inches from the wall, with an overall footprint of about 11 in wide x 16 in deep x 24 in high. Best suited to frames roughly 20-24 inches wide and rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings.
