House of Troy Slim-line 16in 3-Light Picture Light | Traditional Satin Nickel Metal Shade | Living Room & Gallery Art | 16 in Shade | Model SL16-52

A 16-inch plug-in picture light in satin nickel, made to wash artwork, portraits, and gallery walls in warm, even light.

The Slim-line keeps a low profile over the frame while the satin nickel finish gives it a cool, modern edge that suits gray, black, and contemporary frames. Three incandescent bulbs spread light evenly across a wide canvas, and the in-line hi-lo switch lets you dial brightness up or down without a wall dimmer.

Best for

• Living rooms and studies lighting a single large canvas or a row of framed prints
• Gallery walls and stairwell art displays where a slim profile matters
• Renters and anyone without in-wall wiring - it plugs into a standard outlet
• Modern or industrial interiors with black, gray, or metal frames

Not ideal for

• Spaces where a visible 2-prong cord is unacceptable - this is a plug-in design, not hardwired
• Very small frames - a 16-inch shade will overhang artwork much narrower than the shade
• Anyone wanting a fully dimmable fixture - brightness is set by the in-line hi-lo switch only

How bright is it?

Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With three 15T4 incandescent bulbs included, expect accent-level light meant to highlight artwork, not to light the whole room.

Light color and feel

Incandescent bulbs give a warm, golden-white tone that flatters oil paintings, wood frames, and traditional interiors. Color temperature and CRI are not specified by the manufacturer.

Sizing and fit

The shade measures 16 inches wide with an 8-inch extension from the wall, so it reaches out over a deep frame. Overall dimensions are 3 in wide x 11 in deep x 33 in high. Best suited to medium-to-large artwork and walls with an outlet within cord reach.
