Description
A 30-inch stoneware table lamp with a matte white ceramic base and linen hardback shade, made for bedside and living room tables.
The Scatchard lamp pairs a soft, matte white ceramic body with a linen hardback shade for a calm, understated look. The base is made in the USA, and the single 200W 3-way socket lets you switch between low, medium, and high light levels. It is a versatile lamp that fits traditional, transitional, and modern farmhouse rooms.
Best for
- Primary bedrooms, on a nightstand beside a king or queen bed
- Living rooms and family rooms, on an end table next to a sofa or reading chair
- Guest rooms and kids' rooms that need a soft, neutral accent lamp
- Entryway consoles and hallway tables
Not ideal for
- Small side tables under 14 inches deep - the 13-inch shade and base need a stable surface
- Rooms where you want a very bright, focused task light - this is a general ambient lamp, not a desk lamp
- Outdoor or covered porch use - the lamp is ETL listed for dry indoor locations only
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. The lamp accepts one 200W 3-way bulb, which gives you three brightness levels from low ambient to bright room light. It is designed as a primary light source for a bedside or end table, not as a whole-room light.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you install - the lamp ships without a bulb. The linen hardback shade diffuses light evenly and casts a soft, warm glow. A 2700K-3000K warm white bulb will give the most traditional, flattering light for bedrooms and living rooms.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 13 inches wide x 30 inches tall, with a 13 x 13 x 14 inch shade and a 5-inch base. At 30 inches tall it suits nightstands and end tables 24-28 inches high, putting the shade at eye level when seated. The 13-inch footprint fits most standard bedside tables.
