Description
A 24-inch gold picture light with three bulbs, sized for larger canvases, wide prints, and statement frames.
The Richardson Reflector uses a gold metal reflector shade to spread light evenly across a wide piece without glare into the room. It plugs in with a 2-prong cord and switches on inline, making it an easy upgrade for art walls that lack wiring.
Best for
- Living rooms and dining rooms with large framed art or a wide canvas
- Gallery walls and stairwells where a 24 in shade covers a bigger piece
- Home offices and libraries with oversized prints above a credenza or desk
- Rentals and apartments - plug-in cord, no electrician needed
Not ideal for
- Small frames under about 20 in wide - the 14 in model is a better scale match
- Very long murals or oversized canvases - step up to the 30 in version
- Spaces where a visible cord is a dealbreaker; this is a plug-in model
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. It takes three 25T10 or 40T10 incandescent bulbs, so output scales with the bulbs you choose - the 40W option suits larger pieces.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the incandescent bulbs installed; traditional T10 bulbs give a warm, gallery-style glow that suits oil paintings and warm-toned prints. Bulbs are not included.
Sizing and fit
Shade measures 24 in wide, with 8-10 in of extension from the wall. Overall dimensions are 4 in wide x 4 in deep x 26 in tall. The 24 in shade suits frames roughly 26-36 in wide; mount a few inches above the top of the frame.
