Description
A 16-inch two-light digital piano lamp in polished brass and black, built to spread even, glare-free light across a full keyboard and sheet music.
The P16 is House of Troy's answer to the long, low light throw a piano actually needs. The wide 16-inch shade runs the length of the music desk, while the polished brass and black finish keeps the look traditional enough for a living-room upright without shouting for attention. It plugs into any standard outlet, so no electrician and no ceiling wiring.
Best for
- Upright and digital pianos where the lamp sits on the piano top and lights the full width of the keys
- Home music rooms and living rooms used for practice and recitals
- Sheet-music desks and keyboard stands that need wide, even coverage rather than a single hot spot
- Traditional and transitional interiors that suit polished brass hardware
Not ideal for
- Grand pianos that need a taller, longer-reach floor lamp rather than a piano-top lamp
- Rooms where you want a dimmable, mood-setting light - this is a task lamp with an in-line on/off switch
- Spaces without a nearby outlet, since it is a plug-in design with a 2-prong cord
How bright is it?
Two 40W T10 incandescent bulbs (not included) give roughly 800-900 lumens combined - enough to read music clearly across a 16-inch span. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer; treat it as a focused task light, not room lighting.
Light color and feel
Incandescent T10 bulbs produce a warm, familiar glow that is easy on the eyes during long practice sessions. Color temperature is not specified by the manufacturer. Bulbs are not included, so you can choose the warmth you prefer.
Sizing and fit
The lamp stands 15 inches tall with a 3.5 x 9 inch base and a 16-inch shade, sized to sit on top of an upright or digital piano. Overall footprint is about 11 in W x 21 in D x 26 in H. Weighs 12 lbs, so it stays put on the piano top.
