Description
A 16-inch LED picture light in satin nickel that mounts above artwork to deliver warm, even, UV-free illumination for living rooms, galleries, and home offices.
The Oxford collection pairs a slim metal shade with a soft satin nickel finish that suits modern and transitional interiors. The diffused LED array spreads light evenly across the canvas without hotspots, and because it emits no UV, it helps protect paintings, prints, and photographs from fading.
Best for
- Living rooms and home offices with a single large canvas or a pair of medium prints above a console or desk
- Gallery walls and stairwell art displays where even, glare-free light matters
- Bedrooms used as reading nooks with framed art above a dresser or headboard
- Mantels and built-in shelving that need accent light without visible bulbs
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Very large murals wider than 16 inches - the shade will not span the full width
- Spaces where you want a primary room light - this is an accent fixture
How bright is it?
360 lumens - roughly the brightness of a 30W incandescent bulb, enough to make a 16-inch-wide artwork pop without washing out the room. It is an accent light, not a primary light source.
Light color and feel
2700K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent, flattering to oil paintings and warm wood frames. 90 CRI renders colors accurately, which matters for art. Dimmable with a standard dimmer for evening-level brightness.
Sizing and fit
Overall 16 in wide x 10 in deep x 4.5 in high; backplate 4.5 x 6 in. The 16-inch shade suits a single medium-to-large artwork or a tight pair of small prints. Mounts to the wall above the frame; the 10-inch depth projects the light forward across the canvas.
