Description
A slim, adjustable floor lamp in satin nickel that brings focused task lighting to reading chairs and bedside corners.
The Newbury pairs a solid metal base with a slender stem and a small metal shade, all finished in satin nickel for a soft, contemporary look. The shade tilts and the height adjusts from 42 to 54 inches, so you can aim light exactly where you need it. A 5W LED bulb is included, and the on-shade switch keeps control within easy reach.
Best for
- Living rooms and dens, placed beside a reading chair or sofa end
- Bedrooms, as a bedside reading lamp with adjustable height
- Home offices, adding focused light to a desk or work table
- Contemporary or transitional interiors where satin nickel fits the palette
Not ideal for
- Rooms where you need broad ambient light - the 5W LED output is best for task and accent use
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you plan to extend the lamp to its full 54-inch height
- Outdoor or damp locations - this lamp is designed for indoor use only
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. The included 5W LED bulb provides focused task light, similar to a low-wattage reading lamp - ideal for illuminating a book or chairside table, not for lighting an entire room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is not specified by the manufacturer. The small metal shade directs light downward and outward, creating a focused pool of light for reading or accent. The fixture is not listed as dimmable; use the on-shade switch for on/off control.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 18 in long x 10 in wide x 42 to 54 in high, with a 10 x 10 in base. The adjustable height suits most living rooms and bedrooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings. The compact footprint fits beside a chair or nightstand without crowding the floor.
